Amity's vision is that all people matter to God,
we belong in community, and by grace,
we become like Christ to serve the world.

We hope that you will join a small group. All are welcome!

Tuesdays @ 7:00 pm beginning September 15

"If you make my word your home, you will indeed be my disciples.”  ~John 8:31

Not a study for the faint . . .  It will challenge you . . .  It will change you.

Hungering for the Word of God? DISCIPLE Bible Study can transform your life as it has many others.  It nurtures and encourages people to live as disciples of Christ.  The DISCIPLE Bible Study program is designed to develop strong local churches through the in-depth study of Scripture. Through DISCIPLE, persons are strengthened in their faith and guided into service and ministry. Strong, biblically nourished leadership will help us grow in vitality and Christian discipleship.  Details   What does our Pastor say about Disciple?

Suzanne Dornsmith – Women of all ages are invited to join us for our second year beginning September 16 with a look at The Sacred Echo by Margaret Feinberg.  This study expresses the idea that God repeats messages to us in multiple ways so that we will pay attention. Childcare is provided.  Contact UUMC:  929-7191.

Centering Prayer, 5:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. Those who participate find contemplation makes us more aware of God, our own needs and the needs of others as we focus on the living Christ around us and inside our very minds. Prayer in silence is just as effective and worshipful as vocal praying, but requires education, training and practice. To learn more, talk to Margaret Moore, Nancy Sturdivant or Pastor Tuck Taylor.  Please join us as we share in prayer. Details and printable flier.  Return to top
